A room with a real stage, a proper dance floor, and space for the whole community. The Palace Center hosts Bar and Bat Mitzvah receptions across the Lehigh Valley, from close family gatherings to celebrations of several hundred.

Room for family and community
Five spaces from 50 to 700 seated guests. Bar and Bat Mitzvah receptions vary enormously in size, and we'll match the room to your list rather than putting you in something too big or too tight.
Stage, dance floor and sound already in place
A raised stage for the candle lighting and speeches, a built-in dance floor with room for the hora, and a full sound system. Nothing to rent, nothing to coordinate on the day.
Adults and kids, both looked after
Station-style service keeps younger guests moving while the adults have a proper seated meal. We can run both formats in the same room.
Setup, service and cleanup handled
Tables, linens, food service, and full breakdown afterward. Nobody in the family is stacking chairs at the end of the night.
One coordinator, start to finish
The same person from your first call through the end of the reception. No handoffs, no re-explaining the plan.

The evening

Every part of the night
has somewhere to happen.

The reception has its own rhythm. Here's how the room handles each part of it.

The Entrance
A proper introduction
Full sound and lighting for the grand entrance, with the DJ or band already set on the stage. The room is wide enough that every table has a view.
Candle Lighting
Thirteen candles, one at a time
A raised stage and a microphone for each family member called up. Our team coordinates the timing with your DJ so the ceremony moves without gaps.
The Hora
Room to lift the chair
A built-in dance floor with the clearance and ceiling height the hora needs. Our staff knows to clear the space before it starts.
Speeches & Montage
Everyone can see and hear
Projection and sound are built into the major ballrooms, so the photo montage and the speeches reach the back of the room without extra rental.
The Kids' Table
Somewhere for them to go
Younger guests get their own stations and space to move, so they aren't waiting through a long seated service. Ask us about dessert stations and a candy bar.
Décor
A free design consultation
Our designer will walk through theme, colors, centerpieces, draping, and lighting with you at no charge. Bring the theme and we'll build the room around it.

Food from
our own kitchen.

Everything is prepared on site by The Palace Center's culinary team. Menus are built around your family and your guest list, whether that means a plated dinner for the adults, station service for the kids, or both running in the same room.

Dietary requirements are worth raising early. Tell us what your family needs when you reach out and we'll be straight with you about what we can accommodate.

Imperial Ballroom
Close family and friends. Intimate enough that the room doesn't swallow a smaller guest list.
50–140 seated
Great Ballroom
The most requested size for a Bar or Bat Mitzvah reception. Full stage, two green rooms, and room for dinner and dancing together.
140–300 seated
Royal Ballroom
For the full community. 16,000 square feet, a full stage with green rooms, and three additional small stages.
Up to 700 seated
Grand Foyer
Cocktail hour, receiving line, or a place for guests to gather before the reception opens.
